VIJAYAWADA: The
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the 10th class results on May 29th. The exam was held from March 5th to April 4th. The city has about 10 CBSE schools with about 1,000 students appearing for the exam.
Delhi Public School (DPS) here has achieved a 100 per cent pass percentage. About 131 students attended the exam from the school, and all of them did well. 93.8 per cent is the highest percentage scored at the school.
"All the students have done well in the exams, including the average students. We cannot compare the exams with the previous year exam, as this year's exams covered the entire syllabus. Also, it is not in the CCE model. However, the students performed as per the expectations," said G Mala, principal at DPS.
Some 203 students wrote the class X exams from Sri Chaitanya International Olympiad School with a hundred per cent pass rate. Three students achieved 484 marks out of 500, and another three students scored 482 marks. A Samhitha and Divija both secured 482 marks.
Nalanda Vidya Niketan also produced a 100 per cent results out of 350 students who attended the exam. VP Siddhartha Public School has about 98.80 per cent pass percentage, with two students left for compartment exams. Out of 167 students from the school, some 165 passed the exam.
About 164 students attended the CBSE 10th class exams from Saint John's English Medium School. All of them passed the exam. V Manasa achieved the highest percentage with 487 marks out of 500. Another 129 students from KCP Adarsh Siddhartha Residential School appeared for the exam, and all of them passed the exam. The school's top percentage is 94.4 per cent. Neha Saha Sikdar achieved the highest score in the school with 472 marks of 500. The school scored 96 highest marks in English, 96 in Telugu, 98 in Hindi, 100 in mathematics, 98 in science, and 100 in social studies.
